Two new 24-hour bus services for Dublin

Transport For Ireland (TFI) has announced two new night time services for Dublin Bus that will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The additional services will bring the the total of 24-hour Dublin Bus routes to eight.

The eight 24-hour routes are:

  • 15 From Clongriffin Towards Ballycullen Rd

  • 39a From UCD Belfield Towards Ongar

  • 41 From Lower Abbey St. Towards Swords Manor

  • C1 From Adamstown Station Towards Sandymount

  • C2 From Adamstown Station Towards Sandymount

  • C5 From Maynooth Towards Ringsend Road

  • C6 From Maynooth Towards Ringsend Road

  • N4 From Point Village Towards Blanchardstown Shopping Centre

Two more 24-hour Dublin Bus services are due to be launched before Christmas.

Speaking at the announcement, CEO of the National Transport Authority, Anne Graham said: “As a member of the government’s Night-time Economy Task Force, I am delighted that the TFI network is growing to support Dublin’s late-night economy. With eight 24 hour bus services and reduced fares on 13 Nitelink services, passengers can now get home for just €2.40 or less using a Leap card, making going out in Dublin more affordable. The TFI network is continuing to grow its late-night services, with more 24 routes being introduced on an ongoing basis as part of the BusConnects programme”.
