Public transport in Dublin for Easter Weekend 2023
Read on to get a full roundup of arrangements for Dublin public transport services this Easter bank holiday weekend.
Trains
On Saturday 8th, Sunday 9th and Monday 10th April, DART services will operate between Howth / Malahide to Dun Laoghaire only.
Passengers wishing to travel to Dublin City Centre will be able to use valid rail tickets on Dublin Bus and Go Ahead Ireland services within the affected area.
On Easter Monday, 10th April, DARTS will operate to a Sunday timetable.

Trams
On Friday 7th and Saturday 8th April, Red Line and Green Line Luas trams will run to a Saturday timetable.
On Easter Sunday, 9th April, Red Line Luas trams will operate to a normal Sunday timetable.
On Easter Sunday, 9th April, Green Line Luas trams will not run between Dominick and St. Stephen’s Green Luas Stops (07:00 - 16.15 approximately). During this time, trams are due to run between Broombridge and Dominick, and between St. Stephen’s Green and Brides Glen. The full Green Line will reopen from approximately 16.15.
On Easter Monday, Luas Red and Green Lines will operate to Sunday operating hours.

Buses
Friday 7th April 2023
All Dublin Bus routes will operate to a regular weekday timetable, including a full Nitelink service.
Saturday 8th April 2023
All Dublin Bus routes will operate to a Saturday timetable, including a full Nitelink service.
Easter Sunday, 9th April 2023
All Dublin Bus routes will operate to a Sunday timetable, and there will be no Nitelink service.
Additionally, due to Easter Rising commemorations services in Dublin City Centre, there will be temporary bus diversions in place from 05.00 until approximately 15.00.
Monday, 10th April 2023
All Dublin Bus routes will operate to a Sunday timetable, and there will be no Nitelink service.
