Luas Red Line to close between Red Cow and Tallaght and Saggart on September 19 and 20

Luas passengers are being advised of significant Red Line disruption over the weekend of Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September due to planned engineering works.
There will be no Luas services between Red Cow and Tallaght or Saggart from the last tram on Friday 18 September until the first tram on Monday 21 September. During the closure, Red Line trams will operate only between The Point / Connolly and Red Cow.
The disruption is to allow essential track replacement works to take place at Belgard Luas Stop and the Luas crossing over Belgard Road.
A replacement bus service will operate between Red Cow and Tallaght / Saggart, serving the closed Luas stops with some restrictions. Buses are expected to run approximately every 15 minutes, and passengers will need a valid Luas ticket to use them.
Passengers using Citywest Campus should note that replacement buses will not stop there due to limited bus set-down space. They should instead use the replacement bus stop at Fortunestown, around an eight-minute walk away.
The Luas Green Line will operate as normal, and normal Red Line services are expected to resume on Monday 21 September.
