No train service between Dún Laoghaire and Greystones on 1st and 2nd November

Irish Rail has confirmed that engineering works between Dún Laoghaire and Greystones will now take place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd November.

This follows the cancellation of the original works in early October, which were postponed due to Storm Amy.

During the November closure, DART services will operate between Malahide / Howth and Dún Laoghaire only. There will be no train service between Dún Laoghaire and Greystones across the weekend.

Dublin Bus and Go-Ahead Ireland will accept valid rail tickets for travel between the affected stations.

The following stations will be closed for train services:

Sandycove and Glasthule

  • Glenageary

  • Dalkey

  • Killiney

  • Shankill

  • Woodbrook

  • Bray

Passengers are advised to check timetables before travelling and allow extra time for their journeys.
